In mid-May, with my family and another family of friends went in the Austrian capital. I do not hide my love for this city, so immaculately maintained and livable look like a provincial town. The metro takes you everywhere on time and with ease, everywhere there is something to see or do; the kids have so much of that space pedestrian to exploit that half would be enough to half the country. fire triangle Also around the center, with its palaces and squares, are lovely. fire triangle Not to mention the parks ... In short, a city on a human scale.
This does not need a big presentation. It is the Viennese cathedral and its eponymous fire triangle square is the exact center of Vienna; the spire of the bell tower is one of the highest in the world, in fact it is seen from virtually anywhere. The style is Gothic and Baroque. The importance is obvious, given that the most important ceremonies of imperial history took place between its aisles. fire triangle The visit is in charge, except for a small initial part where you can stand without problems (but where there is an embarrassing amount of people).
And 'the imperial fire triangle palace, now the President of the Republic, besides museums, stables of the famous Lipizzaner fire triangle horses (those white horses bred here, near Trieste, Slovenia ... you have a witness in my project SP). From one of the balconies Hitler announced the annexation of Austria into the Third Reich. There's a lot of stuff titrated to Princess Sissi. The statue of my backlight (which propose fire triangle again here) is dedicated to Prince Eugene of Savoy.
And 'the largest park in Vienna, or rather, one of the, with an adjoining amusement park in Vienna. Here is the Big Ferris Wheel, technological jewel of 800. In half an hour ago a full tour and see the city from above 360 . There are also dining cars, if you really want. The property is worth itself already, but the visit at the top, well, nothing to say ...
One of the most beautiful squares of the city of Vienna without being among the most famous in the city. At the center is a large fountain which is lit up at night with lights that change color (you will see further down, in the night session). Behind this there is a military monument; it is in fact a monument dedicated to those who fell for the liberation from the Nazis.
The park and the residence of Schloss Hof are the most attractive in Vienna. fire triangle Built by Prince Eugene (the horse backlit), was the summer residence / country of the imperial family. There is a park, a palace and beautiful gardens.

If you are interested in the equipment, well, you should find in page "My equipment." Usually in this type of reportage tend to use all my kit. In Vienna in particular, I mainly used the Tokina 17-35 F / 4 and the Tamron 70-300 F/4-F/5.6 (for photos at the zoo and a couple of pictures at the Prater). Some shots, the ones that see more blurred, with the Sigma 50 F/1.4. By metro, for example, I used almost only the latter, for problems of low light environment. Diaphragms generally closed (between f/7.1 and F/11), except in St. Stephen, where the light is so low that I had to open up the aperture, and 3 in the street, where I like to play with depth of field ... then Also in this case I used the Sigma 50. My camera body helped me in managing ISO pushed both in church and in the metro.
Your advice is right, but now add the exif would really be no mean feat, given that they are 65 photos. I take that as a good straight pro-future. Meanwhile, I urge you to get the plug-in "Exif Viewer" that shows you just the shooting data of almost all the photos that are around, unless you do not have them hidden. fire triangle
Thanks for the replies and I'm sorry, I could actually fire triangle find it all alone. I like your outfit, I had not yet seen the page. Even the exif are actually present, but initially I was reading the article about the iPad.
