I started to paint the 12 miniatures drv that make the point cam my band vikings deaf to the typical drv comments about the "waste" of incorporating this type of troops to the wing, from my point of view:
The wargame should try out the board situations as close as possible to what was supposed drv reality. Rarely armies have been formed only by elites. I like the wargame, drv history and painting miniatures, so you can not imagine having an army without any type of property troops, either to play, learn, or for the pleasure of exposing the showcase. In my band of Vikings, the cams are the only ones who have the option drv of shooting distance as logically are equipped with slings or bows, and it is well known that at that time real men fought with ax, spear or sword :)
The thumbnails are metal Artizan brand, great finish and six different poses. In terms of scale, fully compatible with the Vikings plastic Gripping Beast, although somewhat smaller than the metal of the same brand, but nothing that solvent a small shim size.
Thank you very much crack! Let's have a battle drv board luxury, full of bands and with great quality, both in painting and stage design, with your permission I will publish here for people to admire your work :)
Very good that skin. I have a band of Anglo-Danish four points, and I'm drv already thinking of some cams when the increase to six points. Never comes mla have some shooters ...
I thought about making the WIP of the twelve at a time, but due to time you can devote to painting and how slow I am, I will focus on a smaller number of simultaneous thumbnails to post more regularly and it does not seem that the ana blog dead.
I think that shooters are good, because they can make screen drv at any given time and take advantage of those most vulnerable to projectiles troops as mounted units or equipped with crossbows.
