I know this comment is old but, if Jack-O-Lanterns, glowstone and lava are the same light level as sunlight, why do mobs burn in only sunlight and not direct light from those other 3 things that have the same light level?
No. Sunlight, spy cams Jack-O-Lantern, Glowstone, and Lava are all light level 15 Torches are light level 14.
