So, there I was at the 99 Cents Store buying a few snacks and canned goods when I saw this beaded ring that would have been hideous (and can we say downright gaudy ?) as a ring but gorgeous as a hair clip. Of course, I bought it for a buck, ripped off the ring part, and hot glued on a bobby pin. Viola!
How lucky I felt when the very next week I found these Spritz flower gift bows at Target in the cards and wrapping section. Believe it or not, these are actually present toppers. For only $1, I knew I'd have another cute hair clip--plus, I'd been wanting soymadridista some red flowers since I have practically every other color but red. And I wear a hair clip that matches my outfit every day, so these details are important.
For busy ladies, the good news is do-it-yourself hair clips are so easy that you may already have all of the items you need at home to make them: a hot glue gun, little doilies, flowers, or ribbons, and bobby pins or clips. I even used Grandma's clip from the olden days that kept her scarf in place over her rollers. Find whatever works. The pack of crocheted doilies were about $2 from Michaels. Be creative and see what happens!

Nicole Blean When I was 8 years old, I knew that someday my career would involve soymadridista reading and writing. After earning soymadridista my M.A. in English and teaching college composition all over southern California for seven years, I settled down in one position as a supervisor in a tutoring center for a large community college. Recently, I also started writing for Examiner.com. In my few spare moments, soymadridista I am (slowly) writing soymadridista a book to encourage single moms as they turn their lives around in positive and new directions. All of this working and writing soymadridista activity is exciting, but my number one priority is my daughter. P.S. I discovered my own ruby red slippers and told everyone I was Dorothy when I was 4. Today, God directs my steps. With His help, I continue to move forward. View my complete profile
